Frequently asked questions
Is Substee free for instructors?
Yes. Creating your profile and receiving requests is free.
Which classes can I sign up for?
Group fitness (yoga, pilates, HIIT, spinning, strength and more) and dance (salsa, bachata, kizomba, hip-hop, heels, afro, pole, ballet and more). Pick everything you teach.
Do I need to be registered at the KVK?
No, you can join either way. Studios usually book freelance (ZZP) instructors, so we ask whether you are registered, are registering, or are not registered yet.
How do I receive requests?
When a studio posts a class that matches your styles, travel distance, minimum fee and availability, you get a notification in the app and by email.
How do I get paid?
Every request shows the fee the studio offers. During our launch, payment is arranged between you and the studio. Built-in payments are on our roadmap.
